Contaminant Danger in Water

Everyone deserves pure drinking water, but the chemicals and pollutants that we have put into our environment make it impossible to find it in a naturally occurring state. Even spring-water now has to be tested before use. At one time that was really pure drinking mineral water, but since the ground is polluted, so may be the spring. The source is originally rain-water, so it will pick up pollutants along the way.

Tap Water May Not Be Safe

Many people trust the treatment facilities to provide them with pure drinking water. But, the standards they have set for themselves and those set for them by state, local and federal authorities are largely inadequate. They allow many potentially harmful contaminants to remain. Many other contaminants get in as water travels through the pipes and into your kitchen. To assume that what comes out of the tap is “pure” is a mistake, it isn’t even safe.
