I have been searching around for a birthday gift for my Dad. It is always so hard to know exactly what to buy for him and I have been looking everywhere. He doesn’t really need anything but it is nice to get him something, just to show him how much I think of him. I have been racking my brains trying to think about what to get and in the end wondered about a pair of Perry suspenders. I remember looking at photos of him when he was a young man and he always had a pair of suspenders on and looked very smart indeed. When I talked to Mum about it she said he was especially proud of his red suspenders and that he always felt that he was lucky when he was wearing them so I have decided that I might get him some. I am not sure whether he will actually wear them, but I think that they will bring back lots of good memories for him, which is fantastic. I think that they will be a good gift, something not too expensive as he does not like me ‘wasting’ my money on him but something which will be appreciated and hopefully treasured.
