I feel really honoured today. I have had two invitations in the post today. I do not normally get post let alone invitations and it was great to get, a wedding shower invitations for two of my best friends. They happen to be getting married a week apart and they have the same maid, of honour who have thrown them a joint bridal shower. I think that is such a good idea as they have a lot of common friends and I am sure their families will get on. I will have to start saving up for their gifts and find out what it is that they want. They both already have homes and so the tradition of buying things for the home may not be the right thing to do here. I think that I will have to ask the girl organising it whether there is a gift list and that will help me to decide what to get. I guess I will have to start saving up right now as not only will I need a gift for each of them but a couple of new outfits too. It will be fun buying them but expensive, I am sure.
